• Colour: very intense ruby red with purple reflections
• Bouquet: fruity and floral. We recognize black cherry, plum and blackberry, accompanied by floral notes of violet
• Taste: good structure. Warm, soft with a nice tannin
Pairing: Primitivo goes well with second courses based on red meat such as mixed grill. But also more elaborate ones such as horse stew, roast buffalo, jugged wild boar. Also interesting is the combination with very aged hard cheeses, such as Pecorino Romano, Taleggio, Reblochon, Quartirolo, Murazzano and Formaggio di Fossa.
